Those with disabilities often face major barriers getting the health care services they need. Research shows that, compared to people with out disabilities, people with disabilities are less likely to receive comprehensive preventative care. Improving physical access to health care services is essential to achieving health equity. Adults with disabilities are almost twice as likely as other adult to report unmet health care need related to the accessibility of a doctor’s office or clinic. In order to maximize the benefits derived from our facilities, it is imperative that Morgan Integrative Health is committed to providing facilities that are accessible to as wide a range of people as possible.
